Re-Nature

ART LABOR Gallery is proud to present our upcoming group exhibition Re-Nature showcasing the recent works of four artists: Guo Tianyi, Tan Siyuan, RJ Tripodi, and Yin Liang. This exhibition will run from the 24th of August to the 24th of September, with an opening reception scheduled for the 24th of August from 4 pm to 7 pm.

The exploration of the relationship between art and nature is a theme that has captivated artists for centuries. It is a narrative that weaves through the very fabric of our creative history, inviting us to consider the delicate interplay between human expression and the organic world.

From the Impressionists, who sought to resolve the tension between art and nature by pushing to the verge of abstraction, to the land artists like Robert Smithson with his “Spiral Jetty” (1970) and Walter De Maria with “The Lightning Field” (1977), the quest to redefine the essence and potential of art has been a continuous journey.

In this exhibition, we have the pleasure of presenting the perspectives of four emerging talents, each bringing a distinct voice to this grand dialogue. With diverse backgrounds and artistic practices, these artists have chosen a rich array of media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, and video, to express their individual interpretations and approaches to the profound connection between art and nature.
