谢·昆
谢·昆（Shay Kun），1974年出生于以色列，以超现实主义风格著称。其艺术创作主要体现于三个系列：《泪珠》（Tear Drops）、《升空》（热气球系列，Lift Off (Hot Air Balloons)）以及《贫民窟》（Slums）。
作为一名坚决抗拒描绘现实世界的艺术家，昆的核心关注点在于对比人工造物与自然之物的衰败，从而实现对原始图像的有机数字化抽离。那些吸引并激发他灵感的图像，均被彻底解构与重塑。当某一图像强烈震撼沙伊时，便会驱使他去探索并剖析它——其兴趣点在于感知的内在机制，而非主题本身。
他的灵感来源多样：既有身为大屠杀幸存者的父母带至以色列的手工雕刻热气球玩具，也有城市战争摄影、电脑游戏中的现实感知与扭曲、模拟场景及其他灾难图景。所有这些元素，都与18世纪欧洲艺术及哈德逊河画派的深远影响相融合。
昆深切意识到自身在当今视觉文化中的独特定位——介于传统美术的历史观念与当代数字及电子影像解构之间，这一张力正是他这一代艺术家的核心议题。这种意识也使他的作品与父母的创作形成并置与对话。
三岁便开始绘画，且父母皆为商业艺术家，沙伊常思考成为艺术家是否早已刻入他的基因。他父母的作品都致力于创造具有鲜明以色列特质的新艺术：父亲专注于表现景观的衰败与湮灭，而母亲则着力捕捉自然生长、繁花盛放与庆典般的风景意境。
对昆而言，一个系列从未真正完结。随着他对现实的理解以及我们认知再现能力的发展，他会不断重返每一个主题。
