Sun Yiwen, born in 1991 in Liaoning, China.
His artistic practice delves into the relationship between industrial mass-produced objects and the alienated human body, while also offering a profound reflection on issues such as individual rights, social stratification, and consumerism. Sun Yiwen’s paintings embody a diverse range of visual languages that reflect both classical and minimalist aesthetic qualities, and his practice also incorporates installation and mixed media.
He currently lives and works in Beijing.
